Where Do AP Scores Come Out?
Once evaluated, your AP scores will be accessible on the official College Board website. Therefore, you can view them online.
Follow these steps to check your AP scorecard:
- Go to the official website of the College Board.
- Log into your “My Account” portal, which you created while registering for your AP exams.
- Enter your username and password. You will also need your AP number or student ID number that you had written on your AP answer sheet.
- Once logged in, you can check your AP scores on your dashboard.
Even though your AP scorecard is visible, you will not get any additional information on your grade breakdowns for free-response or multiple-choice questions.

This time gap between completing your AP exams and releasing your AP scorecard can be tricky. You have spent most of your high school life preparing for AP exams.

Do these things while you are waiting to get your AP scorecard:
- You will still have two months left for your high school to finish. Therefore, study hard so that you can achieve a more substantial transcript. Your GPA will play an essential role in your college admissions.
- During your Freshman or Sophomore year, you can utilize this period to study for your SAT or ACT.
- You can also volunteer at a shelter or a nursing home to tap into your empathetic side that you couldn’t nudge all these months due to the severe pressure of APs.
Things to do After you get your AP Test Scores
If you have passed your AP exams, then there are still necessary steps you have to undertake to ensure that you get admitted to your dream university:
- Start checking College Board’s college database to survey where you can utilize your scores to get college credits.
- If you are a Junior, start reviewing your college application process after reading the College Board’s exam scores reporting service.
- If you did not pass your AP exams, then look for the provisions to re-take the exam the following year.

You will come across many websites on the internet that pledge that they will provide you with your legit AP scores. But they are nothing apart from a scam. College Board is the only legitimate website to provide you with valid AP scores.

It would be best to get your AP scores during the allotted time. But if any mishap delays them, you don’t have anything to worry about. Wait till 1st September. Contact the College Board if your AP scores are still missing. The colleges and universities you have applied for admission to will automatically get your AP scores once released.

Can my AP score be wrong?
