Here we are, in the month of February. Hope January treated you well and your 2023 started on a cheerful note.
At EnthuZiastic, something is brewing in this new year. It’s too early to share but stay tuned for exciting additions.
February, though a short month, it holds several significant events such as Groundhog Day (2nd), Valentine’s Day (14th), Presidents Day (observed 3rd Monday) and Black History Month. We try and celebrate as many important days as possible.
Our first event of the year was Republic Day Celebration on 26th Jan.
Republic Day Celebration: Event for Kids
26th January, 2023 marked 74th Republic Day of India. These are the days when we must tell our kids about our rich culture and heritage. Give them a walkthrough of how the day is celebrated.
That’s exactly what we did. We talked about India, important people who have helped shape India, showed pictures of the parade and danced on a song that celebrates India.
Watch out for our next events: Holi Celebration, International Women’s Day Celebration.

Meditation and Mindfulness
In our last newsletter, we talked about how mindfulness can shape your life. Let’s get more control and calm in our life with Meditation.
Meditation is a way to attain tranquility and relax our minds, which we deserve.
All we need to do is pay attention to the breath as we inhale and exhale. This will lead to mindfulness and help us to be present with ourselves. Only a comfortable space, some patience and kindness are required to practice meditation.
Certainly, meditation is not a cure for anxiety-related issues, but it provides a much-needed space for us. By meditating, we inject far-reaching and long-lasting benefits into our lives.
- Improvement of concentration
- Lessen anxiety
- Improved temperament
- Better sleep quality
- Enhanced rest efficiency
- Boosted memory capacity
- Appreciation of the present moment

Environmental-Friendly Impact
Did you know earth and mud have been used from early civilization to construct houses? But lately, mud is considered an inferior material to build houses.
Nowadays, buildings are made of cement or other machine-made materials. This is accelerating environmental issues.
An architectural company Mahijaa based in Bengaluru found ways to revive mud architecture. They produce stabilized mud blocks to make four or five-storied residential buildings. Crafty artisans and masons work hard to produce the technique of making stabilized mud blocks that can be environmentally friendly and connects us to nature.
Heroes Who Don’t Wear a Cape
For the February issue, we bring you the motivational story of Krishna Patil.
Krishna Patil is a poet, storyteller, and photographer. This multi-dimensional persona was not a cakewalk for him.
Belonging to a middle-class family, he had a humble upbringing. After facing many ups and downs, he landed a secured job. But this is not the story of Krishna Patil. Krishna Patil is the name of motivation and courage to follow the passion and lead life.
His passion was photography. Even though his passion was to capture memories after meeting with a dreadful accident, he lost his memory gradually. He lost his identity but did not lose the zeal to fight all life’s obstacles.
He became an accounting teacher circumstantially and kept on pursuing his passion for photography.
At present, he is a successful photographer, and he teaches photography through his own platform. He encourages young learners to follow their hearts to make valuable choices in life.
